Wen Zhengming Chinese Painting Print – Thousand Character Classic Running Script

Buyers who know Wen Zhengming will recognize the Thousand Character Classic Running Script treatment instantly, and a worthy classical Chinese wall art. The sheet is an unmounted huaxin — a printed painting core, ready for whatever framing or mounting you prefer.

The painter balances calligraphy against handscroll, with running script to anchor the whole — exactly what this kind of Asian wall decor should be. Look again and you’ll spot Thousand Character Classic and seals tucked into the composition. Rendered in running script, the inscription has the rhythm of handwriting at speed. Columns of calligraphy share the sheet with the image, as on the original. Wen Zhengming, one of the Ming Four Masters, made refinement look effortless. Tonal range is wide — deep blacks against paper white, with every grey in between.

For the minimalist: one image, one frame, done, the kind of unmounted Chinese painting print worth framing well. Hang it where conversations happen; it gives people something worth discussing.
